Biography
I trained in General Pediatrics at Maimonides Infants and Children's Hospital of Brooklyn - a part of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. This is the only children’s hospital in Brooklyn, New York and thus I gained extensive experience. There I had the distinguished privilege to serve as a Chief Resident in the Department of Pediatrics. In addition, I helped train new and future pediatricians.
The most noteworthy of my scholarly achievements include scientific contributions. I have researched and published several scientific publications in highly regarded peer reviewed medical journals. Also, I strive to keep up with the latest medical literature to ensure your child gets the best in health care.
Before moving to Jacksonville with my family I worked at busy private practices in Kentucky. Now I definitely enjoy calling Jacksonville my ‘home’. Here I spend most of my free time with family and enjoy the many available outdoor activities with my family. I am married with one wonderful son, a spunky daughter and a crazy cat! My husband is also a physician.
I strongly believe in helping children achieve their highest potential and become the best they can be. Therefore, my goal is to provide every child and their families with all the available resources and necessary care. As a pediatrician I provide well and sick care to infants and children of all ages. As a parent, I understand how important it is to have dedicated, personalized care for my child. Since we are a small practice, we are able to offer personal, consistent, compassionate, and efficient care for your child. It is also my practice to empower families to advocate for their children and be an active partner in the health of their children. I am also a strong advocate of active disease prevention. I love watching kids thrive and grow into successful, healthy adults! Hannah, our nurse practitioner, and I regularly discuss and create a plan of care for our patients.
Most importantly, I look forward to contributing to the communities and families of our new hometown. Consequently, I consider it a privilege to be entrusted with the health care of children and I take that responsibility very seriously.
