Biography

Sarah Cunningham, NP-C moved to Ashburn, VA in June of 2018 and will be joining All Female Ob/Gyn LLC in August 2020. After obtaining her nursing degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2008, she gained 10 years of experience as an emergency room registered nurse. It was during this time that she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She completed this degree from Chamberlain University College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois in April of 2018. She is board certified in Family Practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. After completing her degree she moved to Virginia and spent two years in Family Practice, where she cared for many gynecological patients/annual exams. She has now decided that Ob/Gyn is her passion and is making this exciting transition.

As a mother of three children, she understands the importance of finding exceptional obstetric and gynecological care. She is very motivated in building excellent rapport with patients and providing outstanding one-on-one care. She also reports that through her 12 years of medical experience, nursing has taught her to be compassionate, caring, and fully dedicated to her work with helping others. She understands how important it is to find a provider in whom a patient can feel comfortable and trust. Caring for patients in women’s health is truly her passion.

Sarah lives at home with her husband and three children. Her interests outside of work include kayaking, exercising, painting, and spending time with her family.
