Biography

Dr. Lindy Truong is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, providing compassionate care to patients of all ages with a special focus on older adults. She practices at Better Medicine Today at the New Caney and Kingwood locations, seeing patients both as a primary care provider and as a geriatric consultant. After completing her Family Medicine residency, Dr. Truong returned for additional training to subspecialize in Geriatric Medicine, completing her fellowship at HonorHealth in 2024. She has a long-standing interest in hospice and palliative care, advance care planning, and helping patients and families navigate difficult health conversations with clarity and compassion.

Before joining our private practice, Dr. Truong practiced at Oak Street Health, an experience that shaped her belief in accessible, relationship-centered primary care — a philosophy she now brings to her independent practice.

Dr. Truong takes a whole-person approach to medicine: listening closely, explaining clearly, and partnering with patients and families every step of the way. She is committed to providing inclusive, respectful care to all patients.
