Biography

Brian R Cain, MD was born and raised in Akron Ohio. He is a board-certified family physician that has served patients in the Summit, Portage and Stark County area since 1991 and located in Mogadore Ohio. This solo family practice also works with 2 nurse practitioners, Marilyn Perkowski, CNP and Wendy Pribanich, CNP. We see adults and children of all ages and continue a tradition of primary care providers that goes back nearly a century.

Dr Cain graduated from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1988 after attending the University of Akron. He completed residency in family medicine in 1991 in Portsmouth Virginia part of the Eastern Virginia Medical School Family Medicine Residency program. He joined Dennis McCluskey MD and Associates after residency and worked alongside him until his retirement and continues practicing at the same location.

Dr Cain is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians. He is consistently listed as a Top Doc.

Brian raised his family with his wife Carol and 3 children while helping to care for countless families in this community. He has working relationships with specialists at all the area hospital systems. He engages with high school and college students and continues to work to contribute healthcare education by precepting medical students, nurse practitioner and physician assistant students over the years.
