Biography

Dr. Cyr is board certified in family medicine with a special interest in working in collaboration with his patients to achieve health and wellness. He believes that a healthy mind, body and soul are essential to maximize well-being. He aggressively promotes health maintenance and disease prevention through healthy lifestyle behaviors. Dr. Cyr graduated from University of New England where he was inducted as a member of Psi Sigma Alpha in recognition of academic excellence. He completed his internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and then served three years in the U.S. Army as a member of the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY. He then did his residency at Portsmouth Family Medicine / Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is Associate Community Faculty with EVMS. He has been recognized with the Patient’s Choice Award and Most Compassionate Doctor Award.

Dr. Cyr has provided quality medical care in Hampton Roads since 1998. He is married with two daughters. He enjoys boating, golf, tennis, and hanging out with his family.
