Biography

Dr. John Williams was born into a military family. After attending college at Texas Christian University, he was commissioned into the Army. Following an educational delay to attend medical school at UTMB in Galveston, he completed a residency in General Surgery in Augusta, GA. While his only permanent duty station was Ft. Benning, GA, he was deployed to Iraq once and Afghanistan twice. He was injured in a rocket attack on his second deployment and earned the Purple Heart.

After leaving the service, he and his family moved to College Station to start his civilian career. While he offers a wide range of surgical services, his main focus is on Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery and breast cancer. As a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Dr. Williams continues to focus on the most up to date concepts and techniques.
