Biography

Dr. Willett graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He then completed his internship year in General Pediatrics, before transitioning to the Psychiatry residency program at UVA. He started at Charlottesville Integrated Psychiatry in January 2026.

Dr. Willett treats the full spectrum of psychiatric disease such as depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use, bipolar disease, and schizophrenia. In addition, Dr. Willett has a special interest in the intersection of brain function and psychiatry, in particular in structural brain disease, developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injury.

When not at work, he spends time with his family, plays drums, or hikes and mountain bikes.
