Dr. Christina Braun is a dedicated ophthalmologist with over 25 years of experience in providing exceptional eye care to the community. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Dr. Braun has a deep connection to the area, but her educational and professional journey has taken her across the country to numerous institutions.

She began her academic path at Duke University, where she earned her undergraduate degree and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Driven by a passion for both medicine and clinical research, Dr. Braun pursued a joint MD-MPH degree at the University of Virginia and Harvard University. She further honed her expertise through residency training at the University of Virginia and specialized fellowships at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Harvard University.

With a focus on cataract and glaucoma surgery, Dr. Braun is deeply committed to advancing her field. She brings a compassionate approach to her practice, blending cutting-edge techniques with personalized care for each of her patients.
