Biography

Dr. Karen-Mae Mitchell (Dr. K) graduated from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1996, and joined the Elms Creek team three years ago as coordinator of health and wellness. Her Master of Public Health degree in health promotion and her training as a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach have equipped Dr. K to help patients in their journey to wellness. As a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician, she enjoys working alongside the primary care providers to assess patient wellness and support patients in managing chronic conditions, making helpful lifestyle changes, and using tools that help them to achieve their best health.
