Biography
Dr. Stephen Rashleigh grew up in Western Colorado and attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where he majored in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Rashleigh completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of South Florida, where he served as chief resident. He then completed fellowship training in head and neck surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, before moving to Savannah and joining ENT Associates of Savannah in 1995.
Dr. Rashleigh is a general otolaryngologist who enjoys caring for patients across the entire age spectrum, from newborns through adults. His fellowship training gives him additional expertise in head and neck cancer surgery and surgery of the thyroid and salivary glands, while much of his practice is devoted to a broad range of common ENT conditions. He treats sinus and nasal disorders, allergies, hearing loss and ear problems, hoarseness and other voice disorders, and swallowing difficulties, and performs sinus surgery as well as a broad range of general ENT procedures.
Dr. Rashleigh has also been active in medical leadership in Savannah and throughout Georgia. He is a past president of both the Georgia Medical Society and the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Rashleigh enjoys tennis, fishing, hunting, archery, cooking, and gardening and is also a private pilot. He and his wife, Dr. Giselle Rosinia, a pediatrician, have made Savannah their home since 1995.
