Biography

A Spokane native, Marissa was born and raised in the community she proudly serves. She graduated from Mount Spokane High School before earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Spokane Community College. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Western Governors University.

Marissa began her nursing career at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, where she worked for nearly seven years on a surgical floor. During that time, she developed strong clinical skills and a deep commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Motivated to expand her scope of practice and better serve her community, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Simmons University. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

As a lifelong Spokane resident, Marissa is honored to care for individuals and families in the place she calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, along with their two yellow labs, and staying connected with her extended family who also live in the Spokane area.
