Biography

Megan Mitchell is a board-certified Physician Assistant with experience and specialized training in Pediatrics. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavioral Science from University of California Davis. Prior to PA school, Megan worked as a behavioral therapist for children with autism for 5 years, specializing in early intervention. She then earned her Master’s in Health Sciences from Duke University School of Medicine in 2024 and graduated with Pi Alpha Honors.

Alongside experience in pediatrics, Megan also has a passion for women’s health, cardiology, and behavioral health. Above all, she values delivering evidence-based care and preventative medicine, with a focus on patient education. Her goal is to make sure her patients feel heard, respected, and supported through their medical journey. Megan looks forward to building strong relationships with her patients and serving the Spokane community.

Raised in a small town in Northern California, Megan has since lived across the country from Kansas City, Missouri and Durham, North Carolina to Baltimore, Maryland. She is now happily settled in Spokane with her husband, cat, and golden retriever puppy. She is an avid reader and loves hiking, kayaking, and all things Taylor Swift.
