Biography

Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, MD is an Internal Medicine Physician who is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Kaur finished her residency training at Raritan Bay Medical Center, New Jersey. She excelled during her residency and got awards each year including Best Intern Resident. She secured the first rank in her residency group for the ABIM exam.

Besides excelling in education, she has experience working as a Hospitalist at different hospitals including Sentara Woodbridge Hospital, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, and Spotsylvania Fredericksburg Hospital. Her years of experience working as an Internal Medicine physician and taking care of complex patients have strengthened her commitment to educating and serving the community.

Dr. Kaur is a compassionate physician who puts her patient first. She is passionate about providing quality care to her patients. We are committed to providing comprehensive care to patients for their beer health and to avoiding and/or decreasing the risk of chronic diseases such as Heart Aack, stroke, etc. At Kar Medical Care, we provide a variety of services ranging from treating acute diseases such as minor illnesses, coughs, and colds, to chronic issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, thyroid issues, acid reflux, and fatigue. We also do annual or well exam visits, STD screening, pre-op clearance, EKGs , and Advanced Care planning. We also do screening for various cancers such as breast cancer, colorectal cancer, etc. as recommended by the US Preventive Task Force according to different age groups.

We are accepting new patients and work with most insurances. Paents can make appointments by calling us or through our website. We also offer virtual visits (Telehealth). We understand that our patients may need quicker visits in cases such as sickness, hospital follow-ups, and pre-op evaluation. To accommodate it, we keep our schedule open to those needs and patients can often have the same day or the next day's appointment.

Kar Medical Care is a diverse clinic with multilingual staff (including Spanish) who are well-trained to provide quality care to patients. Dr. Kaur herself is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
