Biography

Hi! I'm Dr. Williams. I am a board-certified pediatrician. I was born and raised in Texas. In my younger years, I lived in Wimberly, TX, and the later years in Castroville, TX. I received a BS in Biology from UTSA. I earned my medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. I completed my pediatric residency at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, TX. I have had the privilege of taking care of children in central Texas since 2011 and I cannot think of a better job!

If you are wondering why I have a D.O. and not an M.D. behind my name, it’s because K.C.U.M.B. is an osteopathic medical school. This title comes with all the same training as an M.D. but with additional training in osteopathic manipulation techniques. This additional training focuses on the whole-body, patient centered approach to medicine. All physicians can take the same board exams and attend the same residency training so it can get a little confusing. Feel free to ask me questions!

God has blessed me with an incredible husband and I could not do this without him. Together we have 3 beautiful children and they are the center of our world. My husband was raised in Marion, TX, and we made New Braunfels our home in 2015.  We absolutely love raising a family here! In addition to our 3 children, we also have 2 dogs. So, as you can imagine, there is never a dull moment in our home and we would not have it any other way! We have learned to embrace this beautifully chaotic phase of life. On the weekends you will find us at Church, various kid sporting events, at the river, or other outdoor activities.

I have decided to take a leap of faith and start Love & Grow Pediatrics because I am passionate about keeping medicine personal. I enjoy getting to know families in the area and growing with them through the difficult and most rewarding times in life. I am determined to remain that “small-town” pediatrician without the new corporate demands put on most physicians today. I hope you’ll allow me to be a part of this journey with you and provide quality healthcare for your children.
