Biography

Dr. Andrew Merritt is a board-certified family medicine physician and a proud Tennessee native. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Musical Arts (Piano) from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Lee University before pursuing his passion for medicine. Dr. Merritt completed his medical degree at the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University and went on to finish his residency training in Family Medicine at Tidelands Health/MUSC, where he was honored with the Education and Teaching Award in his final year. Blending his background in the arts with his dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Merritt brings both compassion and creativity to his medical practice. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve with LYNAY Medical and to care for the residents of the Still Hopes community, helping each patient achieve their best health and quality of life.
