Biography

Dr. Agbayani is the main physician at Marin ENT. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. He earned his medical degree at Tufts University in Boston with honors including inception into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (top 10%). He returned to the Bay area to complete his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck residency at Kaiser Permanente Oakland, where he received numerous teaching and research awards.

In 1998, he joined the practice after completion of his training and helped build Marin ENT to its current form. He is very talented in all aspects of his specialty. In addition to treating all basic pediatric and adult otolaryngology conditions, he also performs several advanced specialty procedures including hearing reconstruction, “surfer’s ears” repair, blocked tear duct repair, navigation endoscopic sinus surgery, office sinuplasty, snoring procedures, head & neck cancer surgery, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, radiofrequency ablations, laser laryngology, and cosmetic procedures including rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, and wellness.

He is very well recognized by the medical community for his dedication to his patients and is honored by [415] Top Doctor (election by peer physicians in the Bay Area). He has been an active staff member at MarinHealth Medical Center (previously known as Marin General Hospital) for nearly 30 years, where he served on numerous boards including Medical Executive Committee and currently is the Chief of Otolaryngology. In addition, he has volunteered for charitable organizations like Operation Access and Hospital de la Familia. He is still accepting new patients.

Outside his bustling ENT practice, he balances his life outdoors including sail racing, skiing, biking, and rock climbing. He enjoys fine dining and helping his friends wine making.
