Biography

Amy was born and raised in West Virginia. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Notre Dame of Maryland University and her doctorate from Shepherd University in West Virginia.

Amy worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery for seven years at Meritus Medical Center in Washington County. In her earlier years as a registered nurse she worked at Western Maryland Hospital Center helping patients recover and rehabilitate from auto-immune and lung diseases while they were in the ventilator unit.

She enjoys working with all age groups and is passionate about providing education and individualized care to patients.

In her free time, Amy enjoys the outdoors with her husband and three children.
