Biography

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Munoz earned a B.A. with Honors from Knox College in 2008 and M.D. from Oregon Health & Science University in 2012. He completed the Osler Medical Residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD in 2015 before becoming a teaching hospitalist at Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, he completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at George Washington University Hospital.

Dr. Munoz is proud to have earned teaching awards from each hospital he has served in, and has special interest in clinical education and international critical care medicine.
