Occupation
PHYSICIAN
"The practice of medicine is kindness, swathed in experience, and held steady by knowledge. The craft is long to learn, for a life so short, and in this, the physician must mediate the past, appreciate the present and foretell the future. Technology is but an accessory to the healer, and the healer accepts that he treats not the disease, but the patient suffering the disease."

Personal Interests
Medicine is nearly consuming in its demands. It leaves little time for idle indulgences. Of those moments allowed to me, I enjoy reading novels and generally try and digest 2-3 books per month. I also have desires to complete travel to every state in the USA, and 1-2 new countries per year. When I do come to the stage where further travel is unlikely, I would like to tally the numbers and enjoy the memories of those travels.
