BCBS denial issue

We are aware of an increase in denied claims from Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) beginning in January 2026. These denials result from a procedural change implemented by BCBS. They DO NOT reflect any error or omission on our part. These denials are being seen across all health care providers in Maryland, regardless of specialty.

Privia Medical Group is communicating with BCBS on our behalf, and we have been informed that BCBS is working toward a resolution.

In the meantime, if you receive a statement/bill from New Market Chiropractic due to a denied BCBS claim, please contact our office before submitting a payment, as these charges may not be your responsibility.
