Biography

Portia completed her BS in Kinesiology with concentration in Exercise Science from Elizabeth City State University, where she was a student athlete and impressively found time to work in undergraduate research. Portia joined our team as one of our exercise specialists after working in a hospital rehab setting and then as a sports performance coach, training athletes on the field and in the weight room. Portia is known for her positive energy, her depth of experience in performance training, and for her natural teaching abilities.
