Biography

Kristen is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for caring for children and helping families feel confident in their child’s health. She earned her nursing degree from Lynchburg College in 2017 and worked in a variety of intensive care settings before earning her masters in nursing from George Washington University in 2022. After graduate school, she cared for patients ranging from newborns to adults before choosing to focus exclusively on pediatrics. She is married to her husband, Mitchell, and they have a wonderful son with a daughter on the way.

As a provider, Kristen takes a thoughtful, whole-child approach to care. She enjoys incorporating natural and preventative approaches when appropriate while also recognizing the important role that modern medicine plays in keeping children healthy. Her goal is to partner with parents, listen to their concerns, and create a plan that feels both evidence-informed and right for their family. She feels incredibly fortunate to care for children during such an important part of their lives and looks forward to getting to know each family she serves.
