Biography
Christina Sasselli, CRNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering compassionate, holistic, and patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Christina worked in hospital-based medical-surgical and stroke units, where she earned certifications as both a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse and a Stroke-Certified Registered Nurse. These experiences gave her a strong clinical foundation and a deep appreciation for the importance of treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
Christina is passionate about health promotion and believes prevention is always better than treatment. She takes a holistic approach to care, focusing not only on managing conditions but also on supporting her patients’ overall well-being. By practicing active listening, empathy, and shared decision-making, Christina works to build strong therapeutic relationships that empower patients to thrive and achieve lasting vitality.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Christina actively pursues continuing education courses, training opportunities, and professional seminars to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices. This commitment ensures she can provide her patients with the highest quality of care while continually expanding her knowledge and skills.
She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland (NPAM), where she contributes to advancing high standards of care and advocating for the nurse practitioner profession.
