Biography

Melissa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings a relatable and compassionate approach to patient care. She partners with patients on their journey to better health, encouraging shared decision-making and empowering them to take an active role in their wellness.

Melissa believes in delivering care that is both holistic and evidence-based, with particular interests in preventive medicine and women’s health.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University, her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama.

With over 20 years of healthcare experience in Florida and Maryland, Melissa has worked with organizations such as Adventist Healthcare, MinuteClinic, Marathon Health, Community Health of South Florida, and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
