Biography

Sangeetha Mohamed, DNP, APRN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner who brings a steady, compassionate approach to patient care. She listens closely to each patient's story and works alongside them to set realistic, achievable health goals. Sangeetha believes in evidence-based, whole-person care. With her background working in intensive care settings, she has a particular passion for preventive medicine.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She also obtained her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification. Her doctoral capstone was accepted as health policy for a mindfulness-based peer support as a strategy to improve resilience among nurse leaders in disaster response.

Sangeetha has worked in surgical ICU, pediatric, community health, and with the COVID-19 hospital response team. She has over a decade of healthcare experience in Maryland with organizations such as Johns Hopkins Hospital, BrightStar Care, and the Maryland Medical Reserve Corps.
