Biography

Leah Frye, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, started her career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse in 1997, after obtaining her nursing degree from St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, NY. Leah completed her Family Nurse Practitioner program at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Her hospital experience includes cardiac surgery, Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology, the NICU, and Endoscopy. In addition to hospital nursing, she has worked as a Parish Nurse and taught nursing at the West Potomac Academy. Outside of her professional life, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, and their energetic Bernedoodle. She cherishes the opportunity to sing and play the piano at church. Always up for a challenge, Leah has been learning how to create and adapt recipes to create healthy and delicious food. She believes that finding multiple ways of making small improvements can produce big dividends in health.
