Biography

Dr. Tien earned her M.D./M.P.H. degrees at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA. She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago, IL and her Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis Dr. Tien’s professional interests include maternal medical disease, cervical insufficiency, obesity in pregnancy, immunology in pregnancy, as well as contraception and complex family planning. Through education, shared decision-making, and trust, Dr. Tien works to empower her patients and provide compassionate medical care.
