Biography

Clay Perdue is a board certified family nurse practitioner, born and raised in Richmond, VA. His passion for medicine began in the early 90’s on the local volunteer rescue squad. Clay received his Associate’s Degree from Reynolds Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree from Capella University and a Masters of Science in Nursing from South University.

Clay excelled in providing care to patients in several emergency room locations before transitioning to family practice as a Nurse Practitioner. He specializes in treating diabetes, hypertension management and weight loss. Serving the LGBTQ community and their health needs is also something he cares deeply about.

When Clay is not working, he is enjoying spending time with his family. His children keep him busy as a spectator with their rock climbing and field hockey adventures. After family, a few of his favorite things include fishing, reading fantasy novels, playing poker and the Washington Football team.
