This allows us to screen for blockages or narrowing arteries of the neck, aorta, kidneys and extremities. If diagnosed early, treatment can be instituted to reduce the risk of a stroke and worsening Peripheral Arterial Disease. National guidelines recommend these tests for patients with Diabetes, high cholesterol, any history of smoking, and generally to screen for arterial disease.
