The evaluation consists of two complementary components performed in our comfortable office setting. First, Nerve Conduction Studies use mild, brief electrical pulses along the skin to measure how quickly and efficiently your nerves transmit signals. Next, the EMG portion utilizes a small, microscopic needle electrode inserted into targeted muscles to record their internal electrical activity at rest and during light contraction.
