Virtual visits are appropriate for many different healthcare needs, including urgent care, routine follow-up visits, chronic disease management, medication management and reviewing test results. Common illnesses including sinus problems, allergies, cold symptoms, and many other non-emergency illnesses can be treated virtually, however visits for acute issues like ear infections, sore throat, respiratory infections, and any wheezing or labored breathing (especially in infants) should be seen in the office.
