Biography

Outside of her practice, Dr. Lewis enjoys staying active through fitness, running, Pilates, and playing basketball. She explores new restaurants, travel experiences, roots for her hometown Cleveland sports teams, spends time with her family, friends, and her beloved Boxer, Quavo. Passionate about keeping people moving, Dr. Lewis combines advanced surgical training with a holistic approach to care. She takes pride in helping her patients return to the activities that bring them joy.

Deana L. Lewis, DPM, AACFAS, is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor’s degree with honors in Biology Pre-Medicine from Ohio University. She obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. There, she was awarded the Thomas V. Melillo Full Tuition Scholarship for outstanding academic achievements. Dr. Lewis graduated with honors and was inducted into the Pi Delta National Podiatric Medical Honor Society. She completed a comprehensive three-year surgical residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, serving as chief resident in her final year. She trained extensively in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery, sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage, and general podiatric medicine.

Following residency, Dr. Lewis pursued a reconstructive surgical fellowship in advanced foot and ankle surgery focusing on complex reconstruction, minimally invasive techniques, and sports-related injuries. She is currently board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in both Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery and is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She maintains privileges with OhioHealth Doctors Hospital, OhioHealth Berger Hospital, Grant Medical Center, and Pickerington Methodist Hospital.
