Biography

Dr. Harsha Upadhya is a family medicine physician with specialized fellowship training in primary care sports medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at UT Austin Dell Medical School, where he also served as Chief Resident, and went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, where he worked with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Dr. Upadhya enjoys caring for patients of all ages, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal injuries, ultrasound-guided procedures, concussion care, exercise medicine, and helping patients stay active through every stage of life. His background in both family medicine and sports medicine allows him to care for the whole person while also helping patients return to the activities, work, and sports they love. Originally from the Dallas area, Dr. Upadhya is excited to be back in Texas and to serve the Austin community. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing soccer and video games, staying active, following sports (including basketball, soccer, and football), and spending time with family and friends.
