Biography

Samuel H. Davis, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who has been taking care of children for his entire career. A native Texan (born in Austin), Dr. Davis developed his passion for pursuing a career in medicine while volunteering in an emergency room after college. He attended medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas and completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

After that, Dr. Davis moved to Portland, Oregon, where he completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology. He moved back to his native Texas and has held adjunct faculty positions at Texas A&M School of Medicine and UNT Health Sciences Center. After working in hematology and oncology, he shifted his focus back to general pediatrics and opened Child Plus Pediatrics in suburban Fort Worth.

He enjoys an active, healthy lifestyle that includes camping and hiking with his wife. He enjoys reading a good book, cooking a great meal, and cheering for the Texas Rangers. He looks forward to meeting the families in the community and actively participating in supporting the public and private schools and their sports programs. Dr. Davis loves kids and he looks forward to meeting yours.
