It is with mixed emotions that Coleman Pediatrics is saying so long to Dr. Hannah Latta. Dr. Latta has been with us for almost 2 years. Prior to that, she was a Resident at Children’s National Hospital and spent one day weekly working with us. Dr. Latta will be moving to Tennessee with her husband, who is finishing his own medical training. We know many of you have a strong connection with Dr. Latta. We feel the same. She is smart, kind, caring, and compassionate. She will be missed.

With that said, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Lovy Shukla-Solus. Dr. Shukla-Solus is a board-certified pediatrician with extensive experience in urgent care, emergency department, and primary care settings. She is a New Jersey native and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago. She earned her medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC, and completed her pediatric residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Following residency, Dr. Solus worked as a pediatric hospitalist at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and as an urgent care physician at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. More recently, she was a part-time emergency department physician at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda and a primary care pediatrician at Einstein Pediatrics in Virginia. Dr. Solus has a special interest in sick visits, newborn care, and child development. Dr. Solus lives in Potomac with her husband and two school–aged children. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling. reading with her book club, and crafting. We have known Dr. Shukla-Solus for over 15 years, since her time as a medical student in our office and are excited to have her join our practice. We know you will find Dr. Shukla-Solus to be equally smart, kind, caring, and compassionate.
