Biography

Amy is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Oklahoma State University and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Nursing from Texas Women’s University. Amy’s nursing experience includes labor and delivery and plastic surgery. After gaining experience working alongside a specialist in hormone replacement therapy, she was inspired to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner. Her dedication to expanding her expertise and abilities in this specific field remains unwavering. 

Amy’s approach to healthcare is deeply rooted in the belief that the best outcomes are achieved through a strong partnership between patient and provider. She is committed to establishing meaningful relationships with her patients, understanding their values, and aligning them with their treatment goals. Amy adopts a holistic approach that takes into account not only the physical health of her patients, but also their mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. By integrating all these elements, she designs personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual. This approach reflects her commitment to ensuring that her patients have the opportunity to live their best life. 

In her personal life, Amy lives with her husband, 13-year-old daughter, two Labrador retrievers, and two cats. She and her family enjoy spending time together outdoors, traveling, and volunteering in their community.
