Important Update - Provider sabbatical!

To the Downtown Family Health Care community,

It has been with great pleasure that I’ve been able to provide care here at DFHC over the past five years. Starting in July 2025, I will be taking a leave of absence. My family and I are relocating to Costa Rica for personal growth and to explore options of a land project we have been a part of over the past 20 years. Our intention is to return to the Charlottesville during summer of 2026. During my absence, the clinic is planning to continue providing care to all of my panel, so none should be displaced. The other providers here are top notch and I look to each of them as mentors. I whole heartedly say that you are in great hands.

I feel that my time here has been an honor and of great education in my pursuits to the practice of medicine. Thank you for giving me your trust and support. I look forward to reconnecting upon my return.
