Biography

Helen Teferi is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in emergency medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice in Chicago at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where she received the Dean’s Award for Scholarship. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology-Chemistry with a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience from Manchester University. 

Helen has cared for patients in the Emergency Department, where she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of urgent medical needs. She brings this expertise to her work in urgent care, where she is committed to providing compassionate, attentive, and high- quality care to every patient. 

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, staying active, and trying new foods.
