Biography

Dr. Robert Pelaez is a board-certified pediatrician who has served families across the greater Tampa Bay area for over 40 years. A lifelong Tampanian, and graduate of the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, Dr. Pelaez completed his pediatric residency locally at USF and underwent advanced training in both pediatric surgery and pediatric critical care medicine. Known to generations of local patients as "Dr. Bob," he combines decades of specialized experience with a calm, reassuring bedside manner and a deeply collaborative approach that empowers parents to make the best health decisions for their children. Whether guiding a newborn's first wellness checks or managing adolescent care, Dr. Pelaez is passionate about building long-lasting relationships with the families he serves, and we are thrilled to welcome his wealth of expertise and compassionate care to our team.
