Biography

Katie is a native Floridian who grew up in Florida’s Space Coast. She attended the University of Florida for both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nursing. Her career began in 2—4 as a Registered Nurse at Wolfson Children's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Room in Jacksonville, FL. In 2007, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing and has worked as a Nurse practitioner in Pediatric primary care ever since.

Katie moved back to the Gainesville area in 2024 and joined Kids Doc Pediatrics. She is looking forward to meeting the many different patients and their families.

She has been married to her husband for 20-plus years, and they have 1 daughter. As a family, they enjoy many outdoor activities, including horseback riding and spending time on the water fishing and diving!
