Biography

Meghan was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. After graduating High School, she attended Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2003. After college, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Arnold Parmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida. In 2005, Meghan moved to Jacksonville, Florida and was a Nurse at Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital. Meghan married her husband Mitch in 2007, and the United States Marine Corps moved them to Quantico, Virginia. While in Virginia, Meghan worked at Inova Children’s Hospital on the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit. After years of working in the hospital, Meghan decided to further her career in nursing, and attended graduate school at the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore. She graduated with her Masters in Nursing specializing in Pediatric Primary care in 2011. Meghan and Mitch were college sweethearts (they met at band camp) and they have 3 beautiful children, Isla, Landon, and Declan. Meghan loves spending time with her family and friends. In her free time, Meghan enjoys running, shopping, and cooking. She loves children and their innocence and enjoys watching them grow.
