Biography

Dr. Gilbert was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. She graduated from Furman University in South Carolina in 2009 and majored in chemistry. She then went to University of Kentucky College of Medicine and earned her Doctorate of Medicine in 2013. For pediatric residency, she trained at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. After residency, she worked at a pediatric practice in Cincinnati, Ohio, then moved to western Kentucky where she practiced at a pediatric clinic and community hospital. She is excited to move to Orlando and join Middleton Pediatrics in 2026.

Taylor and her husband Beau have two sons, Bennett and Cooper, and an English bulldog, Blanton. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and going to Disney.
