Biography

Dr. Inabinet joined Mount Vernon Internal Medicine in 2024, as our first Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist. She grew up in central Virginia and received her medical degree from Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Virginia Campus in 2012. She then served in the Navy, completing her Transitional Internship at Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia and went on to serve as a Flight Surgeon for a Marine Corps helicopter squadron in New River, North Carolina. After completing her military commitment, she did her residency training at the Cleveland Clinic, where she also served as Chief Resident. She then worked at a Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Clinic for Jefferson Health in Pennsylvania, serving as Medical Director of PM&R for the Northeast region and providing non-operative management to patients with spine and musculoskeletal disorders. Prior to joining our practice, she worked briefly as a consultant in skilled nursing facilities in Eastern Virginia. She also serves Veterans by performing disability examinations for traumatic brain injury. Dr. Inabinet is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Her special interests are restoring mobility and function to patients with musculoskeletal injuries, osteoarthritis and chronic pain.
