Biography
That quote was what started my journey to becoming a Dietitian. I was fascinated by the idea that food, something we need every day, multiple times a day, could have such an impact on our overall health. Thus, the passion to learn about the body and how food can help/harm it began. I received my Masters in Nutrition and completed my Internship at Bradley University in Peoria Illinois. I have been a Registered Dietitian for 2 1/2 years, previously in Chicago. I moved to Virginia after getting married at the end of last year. In my down time I enjoy reading, cooking/baking and watching cooking/baking shows (like Great British Bake Off or America's Test Kitchen). I would take self-pay patients in addition to those insured, and a referral would be required to see me if they are not self-pay
