Biography

Dr. Richard Martirosian is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with experience in primary care, urgent care, medical education, and physician leadership. He received his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training in Family Medicine in New York. 

Prior to joining Physicians’ Group of The Woodlands, Dr. Martirosian practiced in New York, where he served in a physician leadership role and as an Assistant Professor at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages and believes in developing long-term relationships with patients and their families through thoughtful, comprehensive, and individualized care. 

Dr. Martirosian relocated to The Woodlands area with his wife and three sons. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing the piano and composing classical music, along with interests in science, technology, and languages.
