Biography
Dr. Millsaps is a board certified Family Medicine Physician and is fellowship trained in Primary Care Sports Medicine. She initially moved to Cairo in 2000 with her family from St. Cloud, FL. She went to FSU for undergrad and grad school, then Saba University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at HCA-UCF NFRMC in Gainesville, FL where she received the Chris Clarke Humanitarian and Jerry Sawyre Scholastic Achievement awards. After her fellowship at UNLV, Las Vegas, in 2022, she moved back with her husband to raise their children in the small town comforts of Cairo. She started working immediately with Dr. Mark Hudson at Quail Ridge learning invaluable knowledge and skills for the next three years. She purchased the practice in 2025 with the hopes of continuing the same exceptional care his patients have become accustomed to for another 30 years.
Dr. Millsaps cares deeply for her patients as individuals and believes everyone deserves being treated with respect and kindness. She insists that patients have autonomy in their and their children’s healthcare treatments- the way things used to be. She has privileges at Archbold Grady and admits both her adult and pediatric patients, as well as sees newborns. She also provides nursing home care at Archbold Living Cairo. She is the team physician for Thomas University and is the medical director for the two largest Amateur Motocross races. She cares for many of the amateur and professional motocross athletes and their families who visit Cairo from all over the world. She performs everything from Pap smears to ultrasound guided platelets plasma injections. She aims to deliver advanced medicine with the wholesome small town doctor feel for the next 30 years.
Dr. Millsaps lives with her husband, David, her toddlers, Roksen and Acelynn, and two sweet mutts. She loves taking her kids swimming, “on bear hunts”, side-by-side rides, and teaching them to ride their dirt bikes.
