Biography

 Dr. Hudson started practicing in Cairo in 1994 after spending two years at West Point. He graduated residency at Womack Army Medical Center as chief resident of the largest military residency program at that time. He established Quail Ridge in 2004 when he returned from Iraq where he served with the US Army. Dr. Hudson retired from the military in 2005 at the rank of Colonel, having served in numerous conflicts around the world during his service.

Dr. Hudson has been a pillar in the community for over 30 years and embodies what it truly means to be a rural family medicine doctor. He is now even caring for the children of babies he delivered many years ago. He is an expert in family medicine and will go to great lengths to ensure his patients get the best care. He has served the local community as past Medical Director of Grady County EMS, past board member of a local bank, as well as serving as team physician for Cairo High School and Brookwood School in Thomasville.

Dr. Hudson has served as the Chief of the combined Medical Staff of the Archbold Health Systems, Chief of staff at Grady General Hospital, Chief of OB/Pediatrics Department of Grady General Hospital, Chief of Department of Medicine, and Chief of Infection Control/ Pharmacy and Therapeutics.

Dr. Hudson has always been an avid runner and enjoys all levels of baseball. He will retire from the office, but not from our hearts, later next year to enjoy time with his wife, children and 5 grandchildren.
