Biography

Koral Dean is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to our local community. She graduated from Valdosta State University, and continues to attend VSU to further her education. Prior to becoming an NP, Koral spent five years as an ICU nurse, where she developed strong critical care skills and a commitment to supporting patients and their families during life’s most challenging moments. Koral values building strong connections within her community and believes in empowering and guiding individuals to take an active role in their health.

Koral has close ties to the community and lives here with her husband and baby daughter, Charlee. Charlee spent some time in the NICU where Koral gained a lot of experience as both a mom and NP that will prove invaluable to her pediatric patients and parents. As a family, they love fishing, hunting, or simply soaking up the fresh air. Koral has a great work ethic, and is full of energy- she is ready to hit the ground running taking care of the city of Cairo.
