Biography

Amanda Gay, PA-C, has provided comprehensive family medicine care to patients in the Austin area for nearly 28 years. Throughout her career, she has been privileged to care for multiple generations of families, developing long-lasting relationships built on trust, compassion, and continuity of care.

Amanda is passionate about preventive medicine, wellness, and helping patients navigate both acute and chronic health conditions. She believes the foundation of excellent healthcare begins with listening, understanding each patient's unique story, and partnering with them to achieve their health goals. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with personalized, relationship-centered care that focuses on the whole person.

Amanda has a special interest in women's health and menopause care. She enjoys helping women navigate the physical and emotional changes of perimenopause and menopause and is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based treatment options that support long-term health and well-being. She is currently pursuing certification through The Menopause Society.

A longtime Austin resident, Amanda is deeply connected to the community she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, Wyatt and Cecelia, their dog, Juno, and a close circle of family and friends. She loves traveling, taking daily walks, hiking in the mountains of Colorado, and capturing photographs of the people, places, and moments she treasures most.

Amanda is excited to join River Hills Family Medicine and looks forward to caring for patients and families for years to come.
