Biography

Erika May Ortiz, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University.

Erika has a strong background in hospital-based nursing, with experience in medical-surgical, postpartum, and newborn care. She has a special interest in women’s health, dermatologic conditions, preventive care, and wellness-focused medicine. She is passionate about helping patients understand how lifestyle, nutrition, and overall health impact chronic conditions.

Erika is dedicated to building meaningful, trusting relationships with her patients and takes a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care. She values listening first and partnering with patients to create personalized, sustainable care plans that support long-term health and prevention. She is excited to serve the Mt. Juliet community with compassionate, individualized care.

In her free time, Erika enjoys reading, traveling, baking, and spending time with her husband and their dog. She values a balanced, intentional lifestyle and brings that same philosophy into the care she provides her patients.
